What is SFMA?The School Facility Manufacturers' Association (SFMA) was formed in 1987 to be an effective voice for the modular building industry in California. SFMA is comprised of a select group of modular building manufacturers, architects, suppliers and others in related businesses who serve California's education system with pioneering ideas and integrity. Our PurposeSFMA's purpose is to increase public awareness of the industry's quality modular buildings and of the beneficial impact on school districts in need of alternative measures to meet today's ever-increasing educational demands. SFMA continually advocates for regulatory and legislative changes to advance the industry's ability to effectively meet the needs of California's schools. SFMA collaborates with various California state agencies to develop consistent, statewide industry standards to serve both members of the modular building industry and the state's school system at large.
